Cabling for both new and retrofit construction provides complete voice, data and video network infrastructure for our clients. Installing fiber, CAT 3, 5 or 6 or Gigabit cable to the customer’s specification, Customer 1st Communications provides “turn key” communications solutions focused on the clients needs.

Horizontal & Vertical Cable Plant
All cables are labeled and the voice and data jacks are color coded for easy identification. All data cables are terminated in the telephone/data closet on CAT5e patch panels. Voice cables are pulled to the equipment room and terminated on 66/110 blocks mounted on the telephone backboard.

Testing
Data cables are tested to EIA/TIA standards to insure Category 5e performance then documented for the customer’s review and approval. All voice cables are tested for continuity and polarity before being released.

Cable Plant Support Systems
All data and voice cables are organized, tie wrapped and terminated to meet E1A/T1A standards. Cable placement is completed to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, local building and electrical codes and to accepted industry standards for the placement of low voltage cabling. All data and voice outlets and data patch panels are labeled using a numbering scheme consistent with the customer requirements.

Warranty
All work is warranted for one year from completion. Customer 1st Communications is always available to assist with network implementation if required.
